Random observations…

Pointless bits and pieces I’ve learned in the last few weeks over here

  • Ctrl+Alt+vowel does not give you a fada on American layout keyboards
  • Over here you insure the car and not the driver (unconfirmed)
  •  The lesser well known (in Europe) rules of (American) football
  • Pumpkins can cause traffic jams (no I’m not going to explain that one, it’s far more fun that way)
  • There’s a medical term for an erection that lasts for four hours (a TV ad for a product that spammers often sell taught me that one – also listing that one as things I didn’t need to know)
